The program utilizes an accredited curriculum, foreign language, music, technology, and physical education. We have also incorporated many programs used by our local school districts. Here, learning is driven by student development and imagination.
We go above and beyond to provide the best foundation for our Pre-K students to make sure that they are well equipped to tackle Kindergarten the following year. Our Private Pre-K receives great reviews from Kindergarten teachers in the area, as our graduates are exceedingly well prepared for school, and often are the class leaders. This exclusive program is currently accepting enrollment for fall.
We incorporate the use of a Hatch Smartboard Learning System in our Private Pre-K Classrom. The Smartboard Sytem is integrated with our award winning curriculum to provide a high-tech learning experience that is second to none. Our NAEYC and AdvancEd accredited Private Pre-K is also accredited by the Georgia Accrediting Commission for private schools because our program meets and exceeds national standards, has literature-based units, and addresses all learning styles. The program’s goal is to help each child succeed to his fullest potential.
Pre-Kindergarten activities include large and small hands-on groups, independent activities, and realistic application. The learning stations and curriculum were designed to build children’s comprehension. Through independent and cooperative learning strategies, children are able to apply thought, imagination, and creativity into their educational experiences.
This program is broken down into three categories: academic introductions, individual and group activities, and station opportunities. The academic introductions are group learning sessions where students are introduced to subject matter. Our individual and group activities help students apply what they have learned and focus on building individual comprehension. Pre-Kindergarten station opportunities provide the following:
We also offer Learning Without Tears for handwriting, keyboarding, and introductory math skills.
Children continue to learn about themselves and the environment around them in an atmosphere filled with fun. Teachers encourage and praise children for their accomplishments, building their self-esteem and creating memorable learning experiences.
